Jeanne Hagenbach joined the Department in January 2018 as a CNRS Researcher Affiliate and Associate Professor of Economics. She is also a CEPR Research Affiliate. Before joining the Department’s permanent faculty, Jeanne Haguenbach was a Research Affiliate at the École Polytechnique. Her research interests span from Microeconomic Theory to Game Theory, through Information Economics and Social Networks Theory. She is particularly interested in understanding in which strategic situations information is shared among economic agents the most efficiently. Her research has already been recognized as very promising: Jeanne Hagenbach was awarded the Young Researcher in Economics Prize by the Fondation Banque de France in 2012 and in 2016, she was awarded a prestigious Bronze Medal by the CNRS. Her work has been published in international, peer-reviewed journals, such as Econometrica, or the Review of Economic Studies, as well as in more specialized literature - Games and Economic Behavior, Review of Economic Design... Since 2018, she is Member of the Editorial Board of the Review of Economic Studies. Jeanne Hagenbach holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
