Kari De Pryck holds a Master in International Relations from the Free University of Brussels (UBL), which she obtained in 2012. She also studied at the Charles University in Prague while working on an empirical study of the influence of climate scepticism on the Czech public opinion on climate change. She has begun her thesis at Sciences Po Paris in 2013 under the supervision of Bruno Latour (Sciences Po Paris/Medialab) and François Gemenne (Sciences Po Paris/CERI) and also contributes to the European project RAMSES on urban adaptation to climate change at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ). Her PhD research focuses on the production and credibility of scientific knowledge and expertise. Taking a sociological approach of a scientific organisation, she is drawing on works from the Science and technology studies and the sociology of organisations.
